Innovative logistics products for the logistics region Viadrina

The lo­gi­stics re­gi­on of Viadrina is on the one hand lo­ca­ted fa­vor­ab­ly in the German-Polish bor­der re­gi­on on the cor­ri­dor Berlin — Warsaw — Moscow. On the other hand, German road trans­port ope­ra­tors com­plain about in­cre­asing com­pe­ti­ti­ve pres­su­re in the region.

In the pe­ri­od from 02/2013 to 03/2014, WAGENER & HERBST de­ve­lo­ped new stra­te­gies for com­pa­nies on the road from the car­ri­er to the lo­gi­stics com­pa­ny, tog­e­ther wi­th the com­pa­ny Thews & Partner of Frankfurt (Oder), as an ap­pli­ca­ti­on part­ner on be­half of the busi­ness de­ve­lo­p­ment or­ga­niza­ti­on ICOB GmbH.

Great po­ten­ti­al is al­so be­ing seen in the de­ve­lo­p­ment of the CT ter­mi­nal in Frankfurt (Oder). Together wi­th ICOB and the ter­mi­nal ope­ra­tor PCC, W&H de­ve­lo­ped an of­fer for the in­te­gra­ti­on of se­mi­t­rai­lers, which are to be in­cluded in the con­tai­ner train of­fers bet­ween Frankfurt (Oder) and Rotterdam af­ter com­ple­ti­on of the new CT ter­mi­nal in autumn 2014.
