On 10 April 2014, Dutch shippers and logisticians, together with German and Polish terminal operators and freight forwarders, discussed possibilities to consolidate cargo flows via the Frankfurt (Oder) location and transport them more cost-effective and ecologically sustainable.
Dr. Jürgen Voigt of Alblas International b.v. reported on long-standing, positive experiences in the relation Holland — Germany — Poland from Frankfurt (Oder). Other top speakers were Godfried Smit, International Policy Director of the Netherlands Dealer Federation EVO and Chairman of the Transport Committee of the German-Dutch Chamber of Commerce; Heiko Rumfeld, Managing Director of the Duisport Agency; Monika Konsor-Faferek, Marketing Director of PCC Intermodal and Dr. Martin Wilke, Lord Mayor of Frankfurt (Oder).
