Shopfloor management brings fresh air into the QM system

Shopfloor Management stands for lea­der­ship at the place of va­lue crea­ti­on and for trans­pa­rent in­for­ma­ti­on, al­most “mas­ter wri­ting ta­ble on the wall”. The prin­ci­ple of in­for­ma­ti­on and pro­blem sol­ving, which has be­en suc­cessful­ly prac­ti­ced in in­dus­try, by exe­cu­ti­ves and em­ployees, now al­so at­tracts ser­vice providers.

Shopfloor is par­ti­cu­lar­ly sui­ta­ble in con­tract lo­gi­stics, but al­so in re­pairs, e.g. for per­sons or freight car­ri­ers. Systematically de­ve­lo­ped cor­rec­ti­ve and pre­ven­ti­ve me­a­su­res bring dy­na­mics in­to the QM sys­tem and in­crease the ef­fi­ci­en­cy of the pro­cess, says Dr. Norbert Wagener (W&H).
