On July 16, 2008, a delegation from the Moscow City Government, headed by Lord Mayor Lushkov, was briefed at the invitation of Brandenburg’s Prime Minister, President, on the logistics network Berlin-Brandenburg and the German GVZ concept in the GVZ Berlin West (Wustermark).
Dr. Norbert Wagener (W&H) presented the logistics network to the Russian delegation in the presence of OB Yuri M. Lushkov and Prime Minister Matthias Platzeck as an innovative PPP initiative to promote the German capital region.
Rüdiger Hage (IPG) explained the GVZ concept and the already implemented planning projects in Russia by W&H, IPG, Cominfo within the framework of the consortium Logcinet.
In addition to the presentation at the WLS food logistics service, Dr. Norbert Wagener, head of the Department of Transport and Communication of the Moscow City Government, Leonid Lipsits, on a tour of the GVZ on the development, organization and settlers in the GVZ.
Moscow is also working intensively on a logistics concept. The meeting was concluded for the exchange of experience.
