W&H wins EU project “Development of transport training capacities in NIS (New Independent States)”

Together wi­th con­sul­tants NEA (con­sor­ti­um lea­der, NL), Trademco (Gr) and STC (NL), WAGENER & HERBST has won the EuropeAid / 126298 / C / SER / Multi com­pe­ti­ti­on “Strengthening of Transport Training Capacities in NIS Countries”.

In the count­ries of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan, fur­ther edu­ca­ti­on cour­ses for te­a­chers and trai­ners as well as me­a­su­res for the de­ve­lo­p­ment of trai­ning in­sti­tu­tes in the field of trans­port will be realized.

Key to­pics are trans­port plan­ning, in­vest­ment cal­cu­la­ti­on and mul­ti­mo­dal transport.

This pro­ject will im­pro­ve the frame­work con­di­ti­ons for the de­ve­lo­p­ment of in­fra­struc­tu­re on this im­portant trans­port axis bet­ween Europe and Asia. The pro­ject has a term to September 2010.
